What is the difference between drip line and drip tape?
Drip line (16 mm, thicker wall) is for permanent installations and lasts 5–8 years. Drip tape (thin-wall, flat when empty) is for seasonal row crops and is cheaper to replace each season.
How long can a drip line run?
With pressure-compensating emitters and a clean filter, 16 mm drip line runs 100–200 m with even flow. Beyond that, split into zones or use larger mainline.
Does drip line work on slopes?
Yes — up to 2% grade with standard line, and steeper with PC emitters. Laying along the contour and using a pressure regulator keeps flow uniform.
